About the Rail and Transit Working Group

The goal of the Rail and Transit Working Group is to prioritize design alternatives for the rail and platform infrastructure and bus concourse configuration by September 2026. 

The Rail and Transit Working Group meets from August to October 2024. The Core Working Group includes the following representatives:

  • A Better City
  • Accessibility Advocate
  • Boston University
  • Brookline Transportation Board
  • Community Representative
  • Harvard University
  • MASCO/ Longwood Collective
  • Metropolitan Area Planning Council
  • MetroWest State Senate District Liaison

The agency Chair of this meeting is MassDOT Rail and Transit, and the Co-chair is the MBTA.
