Eligibility: This is a departmental promotional exam. Please refer to the exam poster/application for specific information.

   Promotional examination candidates are required to file their ECT&E Claims; It is a mandatory examination component and will result in a failing score on the ECT&E component if the claim is not completed.  Supporting documentation will be accepted up to seven calendar days following the examination date by email: [e-mail]
7. Score Release Date
          Fire Lieutenant: June 24, 2024
          Fire Captain: June 25, 2024
   Examination results are issued by email.

8. Experience/Certification/Training & Education (ECT&E) Last Day to Appeal
          Fire Lieutenant: July 11, 2024
          Fire Captain: July 12, 2024

   Before filing an appeal regarding your ECT&E claim, please ensure that your submitted documentation supports the information referenced on your ECT&E claim.

9. Eligible List Established Date: August 1, 2024
   When the eligible list is established, you will be able to view your rank.

The examination weights are: 52% Technical Knowledge, 28% Situational Judgment Test and 20% Experience/Certification/Training & Education (ECT&E).
