210 Springs Road, Bedford – Redevelopment Opportunity

On November 5, 2025, the Commonwealth reissued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to redevelop a 5.05 acre parking lot at 210 Springs Rd, Bedford for new housing under the Affordable Homes Act.

RFP Status

In order to maintain the integrity and fairness of this public disposition, DCAMM has elected to reissue the Request for Proposals for the purchase and development of a 5.05± acre parcel at 210 Springs Road, in Bedford, MA. The submission procedure has been amended due to technical issues experienced during the initial procurement. The Request for Proposals (RFP) released on November 5, 2025 maintains all original project goals, requirements, and evaluation criteria as the RFP released on August 11, 2025. Details

The parking lot is situated on scenic Springs Road in Bedford. The lot has access to recreational amenities including the Narrow Gauge Rail Trail, Fawn Late trails, and the Wilderness Park.

Size: ±5.05 acres

Permitting: 4 units/acre minimum through Affordable Homes Act

Utilities Confirmed: Water / Sewer / Electric

Deposit Transfer Notice: Friday, December 5, 2025 by 5:00 p.m
Proposal Submission Deadline: Monday, December 8, 2025 by 3:00 p.m.
