Advancing Commonwealth Energy Storage (ACES) Grant Program

Overview

DOER and MassCEC issued a request for proposals (.pdf, 408 KB) for energy storage demonstration projects over a range of application scales including utility, distribution system, behind the meter (BTM). Successful applicants proposed projects that addressed the unique needs and barriers to storage deployment in Massachusetts. These projects will also help to grow the state's energy storage economy and contribute to Massachusetts' continued clean energy innovation leadership.
