This page provides information on CDBG-CV Funds in Massachusetts

The CARES Act, enacted March 27, 2020, appropriated $5 billion in CDBG-CV funds to be allocated to about 1,250 States, local governments, and insular areas. EOHLC received a total of $75,093,148. These funds were used to support activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus. CDBG-CV funds were made available to both non-entitlement and entitlement communities as well as Community Foundations throughout the Commonwealth. Funded activities included rental and mortgage assistance, micro enterprise assistance, public services and targeted public services to address food insecurity needs.
