Fishing
Coachlace Pond is close to the center of Clinton but has the feel of a much more remote location. Try fishing along the railroad tracks on the north shore for largemouth bass and chain pickerel. Ice fishing is also popular here and at Mossy and South Meadow Pond which are close by, across the railroad tracks. Coachlace Pond has produced largemouth bass, yellow perch and black crappie that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
