COASTSWEEP is part of the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup, which brings together hundreds of thousands of volunteers every year. Participants from around the world remove marine debris—trash, fishing line, and other human-made items—and collect data on what they find.
The index below provides links to summaries and statistics from past statewide, annual cleanups in Massachusetts.
