Damien was born and raised in the Dorchester and Roxbury neighborhoods with his six siblings. As a youth, he enjoyed playing video games, watching WWF wrestling, horror and comedy films, riding his BMX bike, and of course fishing, a hobby introduced to him by our father, which Damien, throughout his life, shared with anyone willing and patient enough to learn.
Through the years, Damien would use his developing knowledge of Criminal Law toward assisting others in obtaining freedom and justice, until his death. Damien was thoughtful, slow to speak, and reserved. He had an easy-going nature, handsome smile, and generous spirit. His love for crooning to 60's ballads and comedic impressions made him a joy to be around. He loved family the most and was very protective, especially of his sisters.
Words will never be enough to express how much he is loved and missed. When my heart pains me at the thought of his absence I think of all the laughter, hugs, and the wonderful gift of having him as our brother.
