Celebrate Earth Week by Volunteering at a Massachusetts State Park
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Park Serve Day events! It was a great success with over 4,000 volunteers giving their Saturdays to clean our parks and get them ready for the spring and summer seasons. Please stay tuned for more information about Park Serve Day 2024. For more information on volunteering with DCR, please visit our Volunteers in the Parks page.
What started in 2006 as a day of Stewardship in Massachusetts has grown in to an annual event with thousands of participants!
Each year during Earth Week, DCR invites volunteers to Massachusetts state parks to take part in stewardship activities to prepare for the busy spring and summer recreation season. Park Serve day is your opportunity to help tend to your favorite state park by getting involved in a clean-up, painting, or other restorative project for one day. Parks across the Commonwealth decide on projects and invite volunteers for a day of work and fun.
