Early Intervention Data and Reports

View data on the number of infants and toddlers referred to and participating in early intervention services each month.

Data play an essential role in every aspect of the administration of the Massachusetts Part C program. The Early Intervention Division is dedicated to data transparency to support decision-making and keeping community partners and providers informed about early intervention services. You can use this data to engage in meaningful conversations about programmatic performance, issues, and solutions.

Care Cascade Data

These data summarize referrals to Early Intervention services by fiscal year and show the number of children who progressed through each subsequent step in the Early Intervention process.

This includes the number of referred infants and toddlers who:

  • Enrolled in Early Intervention
  • Had an intake appointment scheduled
  • Received an evaluation
  • Were determined eligible after evaluation
  • Had a signed Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Were discharged after receiving services

The data also provide information about referral source, program geographic location, and child-level characteristics, including race/ethnicity, culture, and language.

These data help the Early Intervention Division identify trends in referrals, enrollment, eligibility, and service utilization. This information supports ongoing efforts to ensure that all eligible infants and toddlers have access to high-quality Early Intervention services.
