Freshwater fishing is a family-friendly activity you can enjoy at many state parks across the Commonwealth. Some are even stocked with trout each year.
The Quabbin and Wachusett reservoirs are popular fishing destinations that have special regulations and seasons. Be sure you know the rules before heading to a reservoir.
Note: Some parks charge for parking. Check the web page of an individual park for a list of fees. If you plan to visit often, consider buying a ParksPass.
