If you're new to fishing or want to brush up on your fishing knowledge, learn the basics by watching this tutorial video.

Going fishing?
Make sure to buy your freshwater fishing license. (No license is required to participate in an Angler Education class.)

For Learn to Fish class participants
You will receive an email reminder a few days before the event you've registered for. On the day of the class, make sure you are prepared by bringing sunscreen, bug spray, and comfortable shoes. You can bring your own fishing rod or borrow one of ours. Note: Bait will not be provided. Please bring your own. You could use garden worms or night crawlers, hotdogs, cheese, or even bread.
