Description
Grews Pond is a 15-acre kettle hole and great pond with an average depth of 18.5 feet and a maximum depth of 42 feet. The waters are typically transparent to 12 feet, the bottom is composed primarily of sand, and aquatic vegetation is scarce. The 0.61 miles of shoreline fall completely within Goodwill Park and are forested with the exception of a town beach and small water department office.
Recreational access
The town of Falmouth manages Goodwill Park which features hiking trails, a playground and beach where cartop boats can be carried in and launched off of Goodwill Park Road (get directions). The entire shoreline is accessible to angling; no motors are allowed. Please contact the offices of the town of Falmouth for additional information, fee structure, and/or restrictions pertaining to public access of Grews Pond.

Fish populations
The following fish species were found during MassWildlife surveys:
- smallmouth bass
- yellow perch
- pumpkinseed
- brown bullhead
Grews Pond is stocked each spring and fall with trout.
Fishing
Grews Pond is a popular trout fishing destination year-round and exhibits excellent trout habitat that consistently produces large hold over fish. While trout can be caught throughout the pond in spring and fall fish retreat to between 20 and 40 feet during the heat in summer. Less is known regarding warm water fish populations including smallmouth bass which are present but may not reach large sizes often. Grews Pond has produced smallmouth bass, sunfish, tiger trout, and brown trout that meet the minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
