Meeting Minutes

A. Call to Order

  • Opening of the First Meeting
  • Commissioner Gladstone calls the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and confirms members are present and technology is working.

Confirming Member Access:

  • Confirm that all members and persons anticipated on the agenda are present and can hear.
  • Members present:

  • Members absent:
    • Diane Randolph Jones

B. Administrative Matters

  • Commissioner Gladstone notes that she is running the meetings until a chair is appointed.
  • Committee member Raymond Feyre had technological difficulties, DCAMM technical support staff attempted to resolve during the meeting without success. Jose Bayron is following up with Mr. Feyre to provide assistance.
  • Review of housekeeping matters: confirming members are present and technology is working; provide general guidance on remote meeting protocol.
  • Unanimous vote taken by voice vote to hold meetings remotely.

C. Introduction of Committee Members

  • Each member is allotted time to introduce themselves.
  • Commissioner Gladstone also introduces DCAMM staff providing support to the Committee.

D. Review upcoming meeting schedule and topics

  • Commissioner Gladstone asked members to consider sharing resumes/bios for dissemination.
  • Topic for next meeting: introduction to the reconstruction of the Soldiers Home in Holyoke project.
  • Request from member Mary-dith Tuitt to move 12/31 meeting to another date.

C. Conclusion

  • Meeting adjourned with reminder of next meeting date (10/29) and to return open meeting law certification forms.
