Approved Housing Court ADR programs for 2025-2027.

Overview of Services

The Housing Court Departmenthas approved four (4)programs: an in-house program (Housing Specialists Department) and three outside programs. Of the four programs, three are free and one is fee-based.  Housing Specialists are approved in all six court divisions to provide free mediation and dispute intervention services, and they resolve hundreds of summary process and landlord-tenants disputes weekly. “Dispute Intervention” is a process used in the Housing Court in which Housing Specialists act as neutrals to identify the areas of dispute between the parties and assist in the resolution of differences. See Rule 2.
