Ice fishing tutorial video

If you want to give ice fishing a try for the first time or if you're looking to brush up on your ice fishing knowledge, learn the basics by watching this tutorial video.

This recorded instructional video is led by MassWildlife's Angler Education Coordinator Jim Lagacy. Topics include how to identify safe ice, clothing for warmth and comfort, ice fishing regulations, ice fishing gear, along with techniques for ice fishing with tip ups and jig sticks.

Ice fishing requires a freshwater fishing license for those 15 and older; you can get your fishing license online using MassFishHunt.
