Jeffrey Phillips

Jeffrey Adam Phillips son of Bob and Jane Phillips

Jeffrey was brutally murdered and robbed in a senseless act of violence on July 24, 2009 in his own driveway of his apartment house.

Jeff was 31 years old and the baby of the family. He had an older sister and brother, Jennifer and Jason that he looked up to. He was also the proud uncle of 2 nieces and 2 nephews who will never be able to enjoy the love of their uncle.

Jeff was a talented artist and musician whose passion in life was writing, performing, and recording his own music.

He enjoyed reading the dictionary and finding a ‘new word of the day’ and using it in a sentence. He also enjoyed politics and debating with his friends.

Jeff will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, charisma, and his love for life.

He also loved his cat, Samantha, who he played with daily and was proud to boast that he taught her how to fetch and play hide and seek with him!

His murder had a huge impact on his family, friends, and even strangers when nearly 400 people showed up at his wake.

A precious life was taken from all who knew and loved Jeff. He will be forever in our hearts.

Jeff’s family and friends keep his memory alive through the Jeffrey Phillips Memorial Fund which raises money for scholarships for students who are pursuing a career in the music field.
