Kianna Paige Barrows “Kiki”

Our beloved Kianna Paige Barrows was called home at the tender age of 20. Taken by a senseless act of violence, she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend on May 10, 2022, because if he couldn’t have her, then no one would.

Kianna was born the second child to her parents, the only girl and from the moment she was born, the light of her family’s life. Life was always full of adventure and laughter when Kianna learned how to talk. With her childlike innocence, she spoke her mind and always told the truth even when you didn’t want to hear it! She was passionate, vibrant, and loved her family with the fiercest of love. She loved going to the beach with her friends, especially enjoying the sunsets at Old Silver Beach after a long, hard day, blizzards from DQ, and family holidays with homemade baked mac and cheese.

Kianna was looking forward to a bright future, going off to college and pursuing her dream of becoming a forensic scientist. It is devastating to know she will never be able to share her gifts and talents with this world.

We will never know why God wanted his angel back home with him, and we will miss all the things we were so looking forward to experiencing with our Kianna. College, marriage, children who would be just like her. Her tragic loss has left us broken, and we will never be the same again.

“Remember me with smiles and laughter” is what she would say, and so we shall until we are all together again. 2-4-3
