Description
Little South Pond is a 62-acre kettle hole pond located just north of Great South Pond off of Rocky Pond Road in Plymouth. Little South Pond has an average depth of 14 feet, a maximum depth of 23 feet, and water transparency is excellent sometimes reaching 20 feet. Aquatic vegetation is sparse and limited to the shallow margins of the pond. The entire pond lies within Plymouth Town Forest, and its shores are completely forested.
Recreational Access
The Town of Plymouth manages a sand boat launch suitable for cartop boats off of Drew Rd. on the northern shore (get directions). There is a strict two car parking limit at the ramp, and parking is prohibited along the rest of Drew Rd. Please contact the offices of the town of Plymouth for additional information, fee structure, and/or restrictions to public access of Little South Pond.

A recent survey of Little South Pond has not been conducted.
Fishing
Litte South Pond has produced largemouth bass, white perch, and sunfish that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
