The Massachusetts Division of Apprentice Standards (DAS) works with employers and workforce development partners statewide to develop, launch, and expand registered apprenticeship programs. Whether you're starting a new program or growing an existing one, DAS provides hands-on guidance, technical assistance, and access to resources to help you build a skilled workforce.

How we support employers

DAS offers dedicated support throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle, helping employers and sponsors:

  • Develop and Register Programs: Work with our Apprenticeship Liaison Team to design, register, and expand high-quality Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs tailored to your workforce needs.
  • Manage Your Apprenticeship Program: Get assistance from our Operations Team with day-to-day program administration, updating apprenticeship records, and navigating the online apprenticeship portal.
  • Maintain Program Quality and Compliance: Receive guidance from our Quality Assurance Team to ensure your program meets state and federal requirements, including apprenticeship standards, labor laws, and workplace safety.
  • Navigate Grant Funding and Requirements: Get support from our Grants Team to manage grant administration, reporting, and compliance, and connect with other sponsors to share best practices.
