This stakeholder group provides input to MassDEP on solid waste regulations, policies, and programs.

The Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) has 28 members who meet on the fourth Thursday of January, April, June and October.

The agenda will include a presentation on the 2025 Solid Waste Data Update, as well as information on the recent Recycling Business Development and Waste Reduction Innovation grants, updates from the RecyclingWorks and Green Team programs, and a report from the most recent meeting of the Organics Subcommittee.
