The Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators oversees the licensure and practice of nursing home administrators. These individuals provide subacute and long-term care services to residents of facilities. Massachusetts law requires that any licensed nursing home must have a licensed nursing home administrator. The board licenses these individuals and sets continuing education standards as a part of the license renewal process. The board also processes and investigates any complaints made against their licensees to uphold patient and public safety in Massachusetts.
