OIG Academy Schedule and Class Information

All classes will continue to be online, although we are resuming some in-person classes. Please check our registration form and website for schedule and location updates.

 

Class Schedule and Information

Please read the OIG Academy Policies and the OIG Academy Online Class Technical Specifications before registering.

Registration closes two weeks before the class or training start date. The OIG Academy uses Blackboard®, an online learning platform, or other virtual platform, to host its online classes. Homework may be assigned to satisfy credit requirements. Blackboard or other virtual platform login information will be emailed to registrants two business days before a class starts.

Most full-day trainings begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Each class is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The OIG Academy does not offer a waitlist for classes that have been filled. If a class of interest has been filled, please use our OIG Bulletin sign-up form to get the latest news on OIG Academy classes.

Note: We updated the MCPPO designation requirements and the application and renewal processes to make them more relevant and inclusive.

To obtain a designation, you must successfully complete all three of our core classes — Public Contracting Overview, Supplies and Services Contracting and Design and Construction Contracting. Other requirements apply. If applicable, your municipality may be eligible for the One Free Designee program.
