The Office of the Veteran Advocate analyzes and distributes public studies, generates data visualization tools, and conducts webinars related to the veteran population. All analytics utilized by the OVA are sourced from official state and federal agencies, along with private sector organizations.

OVA Legislative Briefing: MA Veteran Community Impact Dashboard - Understanding the Data

On February 11th, 2026, the Office of the Veteran Advocate hosted a hybrid legislative briefing at the Massachusetts State House, “MA Veteran Community Impact Dashboard: Understanding the Data”. 

Legislators, staff, and community partners were briefed by the following OVA presenters on new, data-driven resources designed to support veterans, their families, and communities across the Commonwealth:

OVA Virtual Open House: Meet the Liaisons

Our August 28th, 2025 webinar was held by our Regional Liaison team with our Commonwealth's municipal veterans' services agents and their support staff. This virtual open house allowed our liaisons to introduce themselves and discuss their role at the Office of the Veteran Advocate, discuss the OVA, and answer questions raised by the attendees. Featured speakers for this virtual event included:
