Commonwealth Marketing Office 2019 Annual Report
The Commonwealth Marketing Office is part of the Massachusetts Marketing Partnership. Its focus is to coordinate marketing efforts on behalf of Massachusetts Marketing Partnership, with an emphasis on economic development in the areas of tourism, sports, film, international investment and business development. The Commonwealth Marketing Office works with departments across the administration, and with businesses, nonprofits, tourism entities and others to promote Massachusetts in a broad-based, positive way. Commonwealth Marketing's role is to help create products and strategies for strengthening the Massachusetts brand and to supply marketing materials to be used at conferences, meetings, media visits and other purposes.

Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) serves as the umbrella organization for all business development activity on behalf of the state. The Commonwealth is divided into six regions, each led by a regional Director who reports to the executive director.
MOBD offers a range of expertise and services to help business flourish in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Office of Business Development’s staff operates regionally statewide, so that the agency can provide on-the-ground knowledge and viable connections for businesses.
