Fishing

Pimlico Pond is popular trout fishing destination in spring around the annual stocking. combined, its small size and solid bottom permits wading anglers access to nearly all depths and areas. As the water warms in summer though, anglers will have to hit depths of 16 feet or more to find trout. Largemouth bass should provide most of the action during the summer months and during the ice-fishing season. This is an excellent pond to fish during windy weather as it offers more protection than most of the other trout ponds in the area. Pimlico Pond has produced tiger trout that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
