Fishing
The annual spring stocking of trout supports an active spring and early summer trout fishery. As the summer progresses, target largemouth bass along the dam and in the cove at the northern end. While the yellow perch are not very abundant, some large fish are caught each year and are well worth targeting, particularly during the ice fishing season. Plunkett Reservoir has produced largemouth bass, chain pickerel, black crappie, yellow perch, sunfish, brook trout, and rainbow trout that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
