About the Rail and Transit Working Group

The goal of the Rail and Transit Working Group was to prioritize design alternatives for the rail and platform infrastructure and bus concourse configuration. 

The Rail and Transit Working Group met from August, 2024 to January, 2025. The Core Working Group included the following representatives:

  • A Better City
  • Accessibility Advocate
  • Boston University
  • Brookline Transportation Board
  • Community Representative
  • Harvard University
  • MASCO/ Longwood Collective
  • Metropolitan Area Planning Council
  • MetroWest State Senate District Liaison

The Agency Chair of this meeting was MassDOT Rail and Transit, and the Co-chair was the MBTA.
