ReiMAgine Aging Podcast Toolkit

This toolkit serves as a communications guide and provides partner resources to help spread awareness on the ReiMAgine Aging podcast.

Overview

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA), in partnership with Point32Health Foundation and the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative (MHAC), released a podcast series on age- and dementia-friendly innovations across the Commonwealth.  

The podcast series, ReiMAgine Aging, tells the story of the age- and dementia-friendly movement taking place in Massachusetts. The series highlights local efforts that make the Commonwealth a great place to grow up and grow older together, including updating infrastructure, promoting volunteer and employment opportunities, providing access to culturally relevant food, expanding affordable supportive housing, increasing transportation options, supporting caregivers, and improving digital access. 

The podcast highlights voices from statewide and community leaders, older adults, and non-profits through six compelling stories: 

EOEA hopes listeners are inspired by these audio stories and take action to make their own communities age- and dementia-friendly

Toolkit Use and Purpose

This toolkit serves as a communications guide and offers partners tools you can use to generate engagement around ReiMAgine Aging, as well as assets to encourage your community to become more age- and dementia-friendly.  

Partners are encouraged to use these resources and repurpose them on your website, social media, and newsletters by adding your own community stories and supports.  

All tools and resources in this toolkit have been developed and curated to help you maximize your impact in enhancing age- and dementia-friendly communities.

The age- and dementia-friendly movement continues to grow in Massachusetts – there are now more than 200 communities working on age- and dementia-friendly initiatives, with many earning the Age-Friendly Designation and/or signing a Dementia Friendly Pledge.
