Services to address human trafficking

Learn about the Human Trafficking Grant Program and find a service provider.

The Human Trafficking Grant Program seeks to improve the Commonwealth’s response to human trafficking, which by its nature requires a wide range of community members to understand what trafficking is and to be able to identify trafficking situations and/or victims in any setting.

Human Trafficking Grant Program providers leverage their knowledge and experience, including lived experience or input from individuals with lived experience with human trafficking, to prevent future trafficking victimization and mitigate the impact of current or past victimization.

Providers offer programming that increases widespread recognition of trafficking and steps to take when trafficking situations are identified; provides necessary services to trafficking victims; and/or provides accountability for individuals creating a demand for trafficking activity by purchasing or benefitting from trafficking in people.

  • address the root causes that put individuals, families, and communities at risk for trafficking.
