Membership
Members of the CAB are invited to participate by SAET in this effort based on their professional and community expertise. In addition to representing a diverse cross-section of professional sectors and areas of interest, the CAB also represents diverse interest and demographics. Participation in the CAB is strictly voluntary. At no time during CAB members’ tenure on the committee will members receive monetary compensation for participation. All members must be approved by the Executive Committee prior to receiving an invitation to participate in this effort.
Criteria for Selection
Selection criteria for CAB membership requires that individuals appointed meet most of the following.
• Recognize the importance of planning and align with the goals and guiding principles of the Shattuck Campus planning process;
• Are effective at making strategic connections between people, ideas, and/or funding;
• Provide representation of Boston in a strategic sector, geography or population (neighborhood association, city agency, populations served by services at the Shattuck campus, community members)
• Are committed to community engagement;
• Have knowledge of and/or experience with landscape of public health services and/or relevant neighborhood/city efforts that might impact or inform the Shattuck Campus planning process;
• Can dedicate time to the process
