Overview
The below list (updated February 2024) includes virtual and in-person support groups for family caregivers in Massachusetts.
Support groups provide family caregivers with knowledge, self-care strategies, and support from their peers. These welcoming, supportive, and confidential groups are led by trained professionals and provide opportunities for caregivers to learn new skills, connect with other caregivers, and get information about community resources.
All support groups are free and hosted by Family Caregiver Support Program staff.
Most groups listed below require caregivers register for the support groups in advance. Use the phone number or email address included with each listing to sign up. Support group listings are subject to change. Be sure to confirm the date, time, and location.
Support groups that do not state “in-person” are conducted virtually. Groups without a stated focus area (for example, grandparents raising grandchildren or adult children caring for parents) are for all family caregivers.
