A list of legal holidays and the days they are observed in the Trial Court.

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law chapter 4, section 7, below is a list of the Commonwealth’s legal holidays and the days court will be closed to observe them.

Note: Independence Day falls on a Saturday in 2026, so court will not be closed for this holiday in 2026.
