Recreational access

The town of Brewster manages a gravel boat ramp suitable for cartop boats at the Upper Mill Pond Town Landing off of Run Hill Road on the eastern shore (get directions). Parking is available at the launch and across the street at Punkhorn Park but may require a town issued sticker depending on the season and time of day. There is a 3-horsepower limit on outboard motors. Shore access at the town landing is possible via trails on town owned land. Access to Upper Mill Pond is also possible via a small channel from Walkers Pond to the south. This passage is suitable for cartop boats only and may require a short portage if water levels are low.
