The VJO Program is an outreach initiative designed to provide legally involved Veterans with linkages to VA and community resources addressing clinical needs and fostering stability.

Supporting and Empowering Reintegration for Veterans Equality (SERVE) (link coming soon)

SERVE is a justice involved veteran program that provides peer support and case coordination and management services across the Commonwealth for veterans involved in the justice system. The SERVE team comprised of veterans, family members, and others connected to the veteran community. The team is mobile and a can meet the veteran in the field.

Veteran Treatment Court support. All Rise transforms the way the justice system identifies, assesses, and treats our veterans by ensuring that no veteran is left behind. We provide training and technical assistance to help communities bring together local, state, and federal resources to directly serve veterans involved in the justice system due to substance use and mental health disorders. In doing so, we keep veterans out of jail and prison and connect them to the benefits and treatment they have earned, all while saving tax dollars for the American public.

American Bar Association (National Pro Bono Legal Services)

The ABA Military and Veterans Legal Center brings together all of the ABA entities, programs, and projects focused on legal services for military personnel, veterans, and their families, and provides access to all of these ABA resources to both the public as well as legal professionals.

Justice for Vets

National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) (Womenslaw.org)

NNEDV offers legal information for victims of domestic violence and sexual violence, including information about reporting and receiving help for domestic violence on military installations and information about military protection orders. The email hotline at WomensLaw.org provides legal information to people of all genders, not just women, who have legal questions or concerns regarding domestic violence and sexual violence.

Community Legal Aid

Community Legal Aid, Inc. (CLA) is the free civil legal aid provider for residents of the five counties of Central and Western Massachusetts (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester).

Massachusetts Law Reform Institute

Massachusetts Law Reform Institute (MLRI) provides statewide advocacy and leadership in advancing laws, policies, and practices that secure economic, racial, and social justice for low-income people and communities.

Quabbin Mediation

Quabbin Mediation is a community-based organization committed to helping people in Central and Western Massachusetts resolve conflicts, acquire communication skills and intervene in harmdoing situations.
