The new PASRR process went into effect on November 13, 2018. This process was developed to expedite the admission of individuals who meet certain requirements to nursing facilities, to clarify nursing facilities’ obligations under federal and state PASRR laws and policies, and to lessen administrative burdens with regard to the PASRR process.
The new PASRR process is outlined in Nursing Facility Bulletin 169.
