Mass. Energy Efficiency Advisory Council (EEAC)

The Energy Efficiency Advisory Council (EEAC) guides the development and monitors the implementation of Massachusetts’ nation-leading energy efficiency plans.

Every three years, the state’s investor-owned electric and gas utilities (program administrators, or PAs) develop a statewide plan, which includes savings and spending targets, implementation strategies, and descriptions of the various initiatives that serve residents and businesses. The EEAC is responsible for reviewing and approving the plan, and working with the PAs on implementation.

NOTICE: if you would like to offer written public comment as part of the Energy Efficiency Advisory Council’s 2019-2021 Three-Year Plan listening sessions, please email Public comment received during the listening sessions will be available on the EEAC’s website. A list of sessions is also available on DOER’s Mass. EEAC Schedule page.
