Massachusetts grown...and fresher Program

Logo developed to identify Massachusetts grown products

The Massachusetts grown and fresher Program was developed by the state Department of Food and Agriculture in 1982 as a tool to help growers distinguish their products grown here in the Bay state.

The Program has grown into a multifaceted initiative targeting local and regional markets through both direct-to-consumer and wholesale-oriented program components.

We encourage growers to use the logo to differentiate and spotlight their products grown in Massachusetts. We offer posters, price cards and stickers. We also encourage the use of the logo in farm related promotional materials.
