30th annual fire and life safety conference

STOW — State Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine and the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services will celebrate three decades of supporting public fire safety education this year with the 30th annual Fire & Life Safety Education Conference.

Since 1995, the conference has brought firefighters, educators, service providers, and others together to build their skills, share their knowledge, expand their professional networks, and hear from subject matter experts. The 2025 theme is "Stay the Course: 30 Years of Navigating Fire & Life Safety" and the event will include dozens of workshops, presentations, and featured speakers addressing fundamental topics, emerging hazards, and proven strategies for community risk reduction.

This year's conference will be held on September 17 and 18 at enVision Hotel & Conference Center Mansfield-Foxboro. Visit the conference web page to register and submit nominations for the 2025 Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year.
