Jefferson — On Friday, October 27th, State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump met with representatives from the Wachusett Regional School District. The conversation focused on the findings and recommendations contained in Bump’s recently released report, Supporting Student and Community Success: Updating the Structure and Finance of Massachusetts Regional School Districts. The report provides recommendations in the areas of funding, and structure to support regional school districts facing challenges of demographics and resource constraints, and encourages further regionalization. The experiences of the Wachusett Regional School District were highlighted in the report.
