Their focus is summary process cases, which accounts for close to 70 percent of all Housing Court filings.

Divisions will "go live" as follows:

August 20th – Central Division
September 4th – Western Division
September 17th – Eastern Division

October 1st – Northeast Division
October 15th – Metro-South Division

A number of attorneys were selected to participate in the pilot. Depending on the pilot results, the department will expand the initiative.

To accommodate the existing Summary Process Rules, the Court has drafted an
Affidavit of Compliance.

In the last 12 months, 4,500 cases have been eFiled by 3,711 active filers. Close to 7,400 filers are registered.
