Looking for an interactive way to learn more about the wild plants and animals in Massachusetts? Join iNaturalist—a worldwide, online community of naturalists working together to learn more about the natural world. The website connects you to a community of naturalists of all skill levels who are helping each other correctly identify wildlife and plants they have observed. Using the camera on your mobile phone, you can post your observations to iNaturalist and get help with identification. You can also explore the species that others have observed in a particular location. Join MassWildlife’s iNaturalist project. It’s free, it’s fun, and you can help the agency discover and track what plants, animals, fungi, and other species are inhabiting some of our Wildlife Management Areas across the state.
