Please join The Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) in recognizing Mark Richey Woodworking (MRW), a Massachusetts manufacturer of high-end custom architectural millwork wood products and employer of over 100 people, for exemplary practices in energy efficiency, toxic use reduction, and environmental stewardship.

OTA has partnered with MRW in organizing this event at their facility that will include a brief introduction, a presentation by the company’s leadership, a facility tour, and recognition of their many energy initiatives such as their biomass furnace, wind turbine, and new solar array.

MRW has incorporated alternative energy initiatives and other efficiency measures into their process. They also often open their facility to school groups. Mark Richey, the company’s president, is a strong believer that the model that he’s set is the future of manufacturing in Massachusetts.
