Massachusetts Environmental Police officers and US Marines participate in the Marine Toys for Tots holiday drive.

Boston — The Massachusetts Environmental Police (MEP) are excited to announce the return of their annual “Stuff a Boat” Toy Drive, in collaboration with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Each year, officers partner with the community to fill patrol vessels with donated toys—symbolizing a shared commitment to supporting children and families during the holiday season.

This year’s toy collections will take place on Saturday, December 13th, at two retail locations:

  • Cabela’s – Hudson, MA
    12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Bass Pro Shops – Foxborough, MA
    10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Visitors are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys and meet MEP Officers who will be on-site throughout the day.

“We are proud to partner with Marine Toys for Tots and our retail partners in order to bring the message of joy and hope to families in our communities,” said MEP Colonel John Monaghan. “The holidays can be a challenging time for many, and this initiative is one way we can give back and help ensure every child experiences the joy of the season.”

The “Stuff a Boat” Toy Drive has become one of the agency’s most successful and anticipated community outreach efforts. Last year, hundreds of toys were collected, helping brighten the holidays for children across Massachusetts. Organizers hope to exceed that number this year with the continued support of local residents and shoppers.
