- Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
The Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court invite interested attorneys to apply for appointment to the Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Oversight Committee for a four-year term. Any attorney may also nominate a person to fill the vacancy on the Committee.
As provided by SJC Rule 4:07, the Committee’s volunteer members oversee the appropriate use of the portion of the annual attorney registration fee designated for the operations of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Inc. (LCL). LCL strives to promote well-being and resilience in the legal community and elevate the standing of the legal profession by providing free and confidential mental health resources, addiction recovery support, and practice management services.
The Justices will be making one appointment to the Committee. Applicants and nominees should be experienced attorneys who are members of the Massachusetts bar in good standing and have an interest in LCL’s mission. The Justices strongly encourage applications from or nominations of attorneys with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Please submit nominations or cover letters and one-page resumes to Anna Rachel Dray-Siegel at anna.dray-siegel@jud.state.ma.us by February 7, 2024. Questions about the application process or the position should be directed to Anna.
