MAYNARD — A Maynard resident has been charged with arson and causing injury to a firefighter in connection with a fire at her home last month, said Maynard Police Chief Michael A. Noble, Maynard Fire Chief Angela Lawless, and State Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine.

ANABELLE DENTINO, 26, was arrested last night amid an ongoing investigation into a fire at 1 Little Rd. home on the night of June 5 into the early morning of June 6. In the course of fire suppression operations, one firefighter was transported from the scene for injuries that were not life-threatening

The fire remains under investigation by the Maynard Police Department, Maynard Fire Department, and State Police fire investigators assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office, who collectively determined that the fire had been intentionally set.

Dentino is being prosecuted by the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office. She was arraigned today in Concord District Court and will be held pending a dangerousness hearing on Aug. 5.
