News  SJC Seeks Applications for Reporter to the Standing Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure

The Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court seek applications for the position of Reporter to the Court's Standing Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure.

The Reporter's primary responsibilities are to: (1) undertake research useful to Committee members at the request of the Committee chair; and (2) draft Reporter's notes to proposed Rules Amendment in consultation with the Chair and Committee members. The Reporter is compensated at $50 per hour for up to 50 hours of work each year.  A Reporter must possess in-depth knowledge of federal and states' rules, including knowledge of current developments in other jurisdictions. Law school faculty are particularly encouraged to apply.
