News  State Regulators Reach $20 Million Settlement with Nation’s Largest Nonbank Mortgage Servicing Company

Fifty-three state financial regulatory agencies have taken coordinated action against mortgage company Bayview Asset Management LLC and three of its affiliates for deficient cybersecurity practices and failure to comply with state examination authority following a data breach that impacted 5.8 million customers.  More information is provided in the Conference of State Bank Supervisors media release.
