MethuenMassachusetts State Police Release -- 05132018 -- Motor Vehicle Stop on Prospect Street in Methuen Leads to the Arrest of three for Trafficking Heroin

Friday May 11, 2018 at approximately 10:25 p.m., Trooper Joseph Diliegro assigned to the State Police Barracks in Andover was on patrol on Prospect Street in Lawrence when he observed a red Toyota speeding. Trooper Diliegro subsequently stopped the vehicle, which had three occupants, on Prospect Street just prior to Curtis Street in Methuen.  Trooper Holland assisted during the stop.

As a result of an investigation and search of the vehicle 40 grams of cocaine and a H & R revolver with 9 live cartridges were located. The operator, AMANDA REILLY, 29, of Salem, the front seat passenger; ALFRED COLON, 32 of Londonderry, NH and the rear passenger; CASEY CURRIVAN, 34 0f Manchester, NH were placed under arrest and transported to the Andover Barracks where they were booked.

Both COLON and CURRIVAN were denied bail REILLY was held pending bail of $25,000.00.

REILLY was charged with the following:

  1. Unlicensed operation of MV
  2. Speeding
  3. Trafficking in Heroin
  4. Conspiracy to violate drug laws
  5. Carrying a loaded Firearm
  6. Improper Storage of a Firearm
  7. Possession of a Firearm
  8. Unlawful possession of ammunition
  9. Possession of a Firearm during a felony

COLON was charged with the following:

  1. Trafficking in Heroin
  2. Conspiracy to violate drug laws
  3. Carrying a loaded Firearm
  4. Improper Storage of a Firearm
  5. Possession of a Firearm
  6. Unlawful possession of ammunition
  7. Possession of a Firearm during a felony
  8. Felon in possession of a Firearm
  9. Obstruction of justice by disguising ID
  10. (2) Warrants
  11. False name during booking

CURRIVAN was charged with the following:

  1. Trafficking in Heroin
  2. Conspiracy to violate drug laws
  3. Carrying a loaded Firearm
  4. Improper Storage of a Firearm
  5. Possession of a Firearm
  6. Unlawful possession of ammunition
  7. Possession of a Firearm during a felony
  8. Felon in possession of a Firearm
  9. Obstruction of justice by disguising ID
  10. Warrant
