Greenfield — Massachusetts State Police Release – 05142018 – Two Arrested Trafficking Cocaine in Greenfield
Late Saturday night, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Trooper Anthony Lavigne of the State Police Shelburne Falls Barracks stopped a Nissan Altima on I-91 northbound in the town of Greenfield for motor vehicle violations.
As a result of an investigation, with the assistance of Troopers Scott Boutell, Michael Leslie, and subsequently Trooper Matt Baird and his K-9 partner, K-9 Caber, both occupants were found to be in possession of approximately 37 grams of Cocaine and an open container of alcohol. The driver, identified as AARON B. BELCHER, 38, and passenger, RAVEN S. SULLIVAN, 21, both of Springfield, were placed under arrest and brought to the Shelburne Falls Barracks for booking.
BELCHER was charged with the following:
1. Trafficking in cocaine
2. Conspiracy to violate drug law
3. Possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle
4. Marked lanes violation
5. Speeding
SULLIVAN was charged with the following:
1. Trafficking in cocaine
2. Conspiracy to violate drug law
3. Possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle
4. Failure to wear seat belt
Both were held on $5,000 bail, pending arraignment today in Greenfield District Court.
